But there is no item in "add Items to Panel" list about "Xfce-menu" in panel , just can appear when i click right in xfdesktop. I think there may be some errorr because i had installed in "/usr/local" through gui-installer way. trying :-x

The panel menu is part of xfdesktop and you can find it in right_click_panel > add items.

my xfce44rc2 was installed in gentoo OS,but there is no "main menu "(just like m$windows start here by click) in the panel ,if i compiled by GUI-INSTALLER mode ,"main menu" can be find. why is this?can you help me?thanks.
