hi,

it is a bug in hal-0.5.8.1 that it can mount removable media
and can't mount local partions so i patch hal
with 15_partition_probing.patch
and it is solved

but i want to ask why xfce cant make desktop icon for local ide partions like gnome do it
is make icon for removable media only .

can hal do auto mount ide hard disk partions (not usb connect,normal ide connect) like removable media

and if it can how i can do this .
