Hi There - looks like I answered my own question.
I realized i was placing the window very slightly outside the desktop - hence the window manager was refusing to save that location, and giving me a random location the next time it opened.

Hi;

I have a launcher on my desktop, opening my home folder.
Is there anyway to tell Thunar to open at a specific location / size on my desktop?

It used to open at my desired location / size, but recently the window manager is opening the window in a different location on my desktop.
