I used 4.2. for a time but wasn't real satisfied and had used KDE since then. But the things I missed are included in 4.4.

The main improvements are:

  • Thunar is fast as Xfce and the only filemanager I need, eccept for Midnight Commander of cause. The old filemanager Xffm was slow and useless.

  • Quichlancher is another neccesary thing that I couldn't live whithout. The old Launcher wasn't fun at all.

With 4.4 I can't come up with one bad or missing thing right now, after that I used 4.3.99 and 4.4 as my only window environment for close to a mounth.

I was using 4.2 before. It's just awesome. Much better than anything else. Thank you for the great work.
