maybe your keythemerc file is located somewhere else. try "locate keythemerc" on the command line to see where it is.

.. Any idea on how the syntax is?
And btw, my eythemerc-file is empty.

change the shortcuts in the /usr/local/share/themes/Default/xfwm4/keythemerc file. you must be root to do that.

I want to change the shortcuts under keyboard preferences, but it's seems like all I am allowed to do is to add more shortcuts. I can't even modify the existing shortcuts. Does anyone know of a way to do this?
