Don't think that you can have one just for xfdesktop (the desktop menu is not a custom widget) unless you make xfdesktop start with one gtk theme and have a custom menu to make the apps xfdesktop opens use a diffrent one, but you can change the font for all menus items.

Just wondering, can I have a different font on a desktop menu? If so, how?
