Hi,

I've been working on this but with very little success.

I've tried changing the .png and .svg files for the user-trash icon in Tango in each of the 16x16, 22x22, 24x24, 32x32, and scalable directories. The new icon only appears in the thunar view for these files. The icon in the dock, and on menu bars in windows stays the same old green bucket.

What other files do I need to change? Any pointers gratefully received.

Brendan

Hi,

I'm new to Linux, and would like to learn a little more about it. I have been messing about with Xfce4.4 on Xubuntu, and I love the changes from the earlier version. The drop shadows and transparencies are well handled, even on my old 500mhz toshiba, with its 8mb video ram.

I want to customise the look of the desktop and would like to know what files I have to change to globally alter the file manager icon, or trash icon in, say, the Tango theme. There seem to be a lot of instances of the icons in many directories.

__
Brendan
