thanks for your Reply. But Image Preview does not seem to work on my box even in Icon View mode.

Yup. Set the icon view. Works for PNG, SVG, JPG, ICO, and GIF (maybe more, but that's all I found on my box). You may also want this Goodie to support more formats --> http://goodies.xfce.org/projects/thunar … umbnailers.

I there's a project in the works called Ristretto to provide an image viewer. Risretto --> http://goodies.xfce.org/projects/applications/ristretto. Nothing's been released, but you check out the code from SVN and build it yourself. Your question just prompted me to do just that! It (like everything else XFCE) works well. Otherwise, here's a list of recommended XFCE applications http://wiki.xfce.org/recommendedapps. There's one or two image viewers on the list.

Hi all.

Is there a way to preview PNG and SVG Images in Thunar Filemanager?

BTW. is there a XFce image viewer available?
