Hello - me again,

Bizzarely, the panel seems to be behaving normally this morning . It obviously took exception to being mentioned online this way. SO the problem seems ...OK-ish... for now, but as I have no clue what "cured" it, or when it will go faulty again, I'd still be grateful to anyone who has any thoughts on this.

Sadly, however, I won't be able to give further info on how the problem manifests/ any dmesg clues etc at the moment.

Hello All,

Vector linux Std 5.8, xfce 4.4.0

I have a problem with the panel; after virtually any
application has run, the panel disappears when the app
is closed. Any minimised app also becomes unavailable
as well, although I usually get one shot with Alt-Tab
to get a minimised app back.

Right-clicking the desktop brings up the menu,
and _Run program, _xfce4-panel restores the panel. But
it is as unstable as before.

Can anyone help with this?
