I switched back the original value and now it works fine.

Instead it leaves empty spaces around and the visual margins of my desktop view are rounded. When I maximize for example Firefox the edges are not rounded anymore, but still Firefox fits in the sub-desktop space instead of the entire desktop space.

Sorry, but I can't provide a screenshot right now, but I hope you understood my problem.

Can anyone help me?
