When disabling the xfce compositer the system didn't work slow anymore. i was told it's because the intel 945 graphic card driver isn't supported too well.

Or when i open firefox, for a split of a second i see snow where firefox should be?
I didn't have those problems when i was working on xubuntu 7.04, but on xubuntu 7.10 and Daryna these problem persists.
Anyone knows what could be wrong? Is it that the new xfce is a bit more buggy?
