What is on that thread is probably going to change before I'm done but its a good indicator of the direction I'm going if your curious. Help, art, and suggestions welcome.

Wow. I wrote that guide a few years ago when I was teaching myself how to make themes. I'm glad somebody found it and got some use from it (it is a bit dated though).

Since then I have moved to writing themes for the murrine gtk engine because it's so easy to customize.

hmm the link to my art seems to have moved http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=816629 is the new valid link. I am not working on this anymore if anyone wants to pick up where I left off they are more then welcome.
