Yes, it's not part of the core, that said, we'll change that for the next release, so for now you have to get the tarball separatly: http://archive.xfce.org/src/libs/garcon/

Hello,

When I want install Xfce 4.8, I have downloaded the fat_tarballs and the lib garcon is not present in.

Is it normal ?
