Then I tried KDE, but I wasn't happy with it either. Also my wife was complaining - she wanted a stable and simple environment we had in Gnome 2. I wouldn't even dare to install gnome 3 to my parents (they also use linux and find it simpler and more stable than windows).

Thank you XFCE developers - your deed is really great, I enjoy using it. I hope I will be able to contribute as well.
