I started using xfce 4.8 as my desktop environment since last year november. Why? Just escape from Gnome3 and Unity. But after some months i really found that xfce was an excellent DE. Simple, efficient, quick and stable. It has only a few bugs and drawbacks, example lack of icons and menuconfig, badly powermanager. I will go on supporting this DE.
