			<description><![CDATA[<p>I assume that the &quot;shutdown&quot; &quot;restart&quot; and &quot;logout&quot; buttons invoke a script that preforms the needed actions. If you were to add the line &quot;pkill firefox&quot; somewhere at the beginning of the script, this will send SIGTERM to firefox, and it will shutdown gracefully.</p><p>You can try this yourself by opening a terminal and type &quot;pkill firefox&quot; -no quotes of course- and this will shutdown firefox gracefully.</p><p>Hope that helps.
