I tried run xfwm 4.10, compiled by me, without "make install", but he gives-me this error:

$ ./xfwm4 --replace
Waiting for current window manager (Xfwm4) on screen :0.0 to exit: Done

(xfwm4:5127): xfwm4-WARNING **: Missing defaults file

It's possible to run without install?
