			<description><![CDATA[<p>Update: in another user profile on the same machine, fonts are not ugly in Google Chrome.</p><p>Update -- for future reference, for noobs such as I <img src="http://forum.xfce.org/img/smilies/smile.png" width="15" height="15" alt="smile" /> -- </p><p>Fonts were blurry in one user profile but not the other, in Qt applications not just Chrome <br />(is Chrome Qt based ?).</p><p>I found this post: <a href="http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2032512" rel="nofollow">http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2032512</a></p><p>In my case, it was enough to remove<br />~/.config/xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel-xml/xsettings.xml.</p><p>I&#160; don&#039;t understand the real reason for the problem though.</p>]]></description>

			<title><![CDATA[Font rendering in Chrome]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Hello,</p><p>XFCE 4.8 in xubuntu 12.04</p><p>Font display is fine in Firefox but not in Google Chrome (Version 21.0.1180.81).</p><p>Although my panel settings enable anti-aliasing with slight hinting, it does not seem to apply to Chrome.</p><p>I&#039;ve tried to follow ~/.fonts.conf tricks found on the web, to no avail.</p><p>Can you help ?</p><p>-- Richard</p>]]></description>
