<![CDATA[Xfce Forums / Hello]]> http://forum.xfce.org/viewtopic.php?id=7448 Mon, 17 Sep 2012 17:40:06 +0000 FluxBB <![CDATA[Hello]]> http://forum.xfce.org/viewtopic.php?pid=27443#p27443 I am using Xubuntu 11.10 and it is great!  Converted to using Linux exclusively about 5 years ago.  Started with normal Ubuntu, but changed to Xubuntu when Unity came out.  I was amazed how well XFCE worked and how little resources it used.  I have never looked back.

I am an Electrical Engineer and have been able to use Linux as my host and VM's to run specialized software that only run on Windows.

I really like XFCE and would like to contribute in some way!  I like the ability that XFCE has for customization with native components, such as panels.

I am not sure how to get started in the community though.  What is the best way to help?
