Gosh, is it me or people keep asking the same questions all the time?
The forum 'search' feature works pretty well as does Google (search with 'site:forum.xfce.org').

I'm using Xfce 4.8.  The desktop has an invisible grid which acts to hold dektop icons in place.  I like this idea- keeps things neat and aligned well, but is there a way to shrink the squares in the grid so I can do something like place icons closer together or closer to the edges of the screen?  Must be a number set in a config file somewhere that controls this.
