I've been fiddling with he panel set-up and run into a little bit of an issue with the non-consistent/global icon resizing.

Icons in the notification area can be resized (by making the panel height bigger or smaller) to make the icon snap to a clear size (not fuzzy/squished/zoomed) e.g. 16X16, 24x24, 32x32 etc.

But the icons in the 'Window Buttons' applet do not scale at the same rate, so can you either have the Notification area icons or the Window Button icons in full clarity but not both together?

See the screenshot (excuse the 3 screens and the conky glitch - I'm not used to GIMP just yet)...
