Ideally using Thunar, but if it could be tied to a custom file manager (like Konqueror) as well that would be great. Currently one must type "thunar /full/path/" but that is a lot of typing for a quick launch action.

Or would it also be possible to open Places (as defined in thunar on the left panel)?
