The solution I&#039;ve found was go to <br />Menu -&gt; Settings -&gt; Settings Manager click on Window manager tweaks -&gt; Compositor</p><p>Now disable &quot;Enable display compositiong&quot; and dimed problem is fixed <img src="http://forum.xfce.org/img/smilies/smile.png" width="15" height="15" alt="smile" /></p><p>Thanks to Pedro Rainho</p><p>cheers</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>I have the same problem on a latitude D420, with VGA external monitor.. when one monitor no problem.. strange is that if I run firefox in full screen mode, then there is no shadow, but in normal mode, the whole window is behind a shadow, most windows are behind shadows, but some apear clear as normal.. very strange</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Hi.</p><p>Laptop: Dell D430, 2 Gig RAM, Intel GMA 950, Xubuntu 1204.</p><p>I installed Xubuntu recently and I&#039;d like to use two monitors. Stock Xfce 4.08 (? stock Xubuntu 12.04) and Xrandr gives the following:</p><p><a href="http://www.abload.de/image.php?img=amcuryq.png" rel="nofollow"><span class="postimg"><img src="http://www.abload.de/thumb/amcuryq.png" alt="amcuryq.png" /></span></a></p><p>The shadows appear to be over the windows.<br />This happenes with 4.10 and 4.12 too.<br />The output is fine with one monitor and with cloned monitor.</p><p>Can you tell me how to get the shadows correctely?</p>]]></description>
