[SOLVED] Workspace other than the first one gets activated on login

Hello,

Ever since I installed xfce, the second workspace (and, at times, the third one) gets activated when I log into my desktop. Programs start in either of these two workspaces, unless I manually move to the first one.

Can you tell me why this is happening and how I can change it?

Make sure that you're on your first workspace and log out, saving your configuration for future logins.  Then, make sure that you don't save your configuration again unless you made a change that you need to keep.
