Re: Xubuntu crashes when I click log out

Hello and welcome.

What exactly happens? Does the system lockup? Do you get dumped back to the login window? Does the system reboot?

How to fix that?

You'll need to post the full logs from your journal:

sudo journalctl -b 0 --no-pager

...and also the full content of ~/.xsession-errors.old (assuming you get dumped out of your session).

Re: Xubuntu crashes when I click log out

http://paste.ubuntu.com/p/NhXNJNPRYs/ - ~/.xsession-errors.old

http://paste.ubuntu.com/p/TMn76zGrF9/

I click it, desktop gets black and then gets back to normal.

Can you explain this better? What is "normal"? Does it go back to the login screen, the boot screen or back to the desktop?

Re: Xubuntu crashes when I click log out

I have solved it by doing this: https://www.reddit.com/r/xubuntu/commen … y/f545mns/ Now I need to bind whisker menus logout button to do that command or disable those buttons smile
