(From a newbie, a really silly question) - where is the menu?

Hi all -

I'm a newcomer to xfce and am having problems finding my way around.
My situation is this - I've downloaded a neat OpenBSD LiveCD from a website, and it has the xfce desktop.
It works fine, I've got a toolbar at the bottom of the screen, but for the life of me, I can't find or activate the menu....

I've looked at the faq (which had something about *adding* items to the menu), but there's nothing about actually finding the menu in the first place :-). IMO, that'd be a useful faq item, as xfce does seem to be "different".

Anyway, if someone can let me know how to activate the menu (or even if there *is* one), that'd be really great! :-)
Very many thanks in advance - bye for now -

In XFCE the menu is optional.

Rightclick on a panel, "add plugin", select "menu" (or whatever it's called).
