Can't change wallpaper in a list
Under 4.4, you could get a new random wallpaper from a list by running "xfdesktop --reload". Under 4.6, that isn't working. Any suggestions?

Use xfconf, its much easier and faster.
xfconf-query -v -c xfce4-desktop -p /backdrop/screen0/monitor0/image-path -s %f
%f being the path to the new image. If you want a script that'll pick a random wallpaper from a specified directory try http://sometimes.strangled.net/scripts/ … all-4.6.pl
