with xfce upgrade (4.4 to 4.6) , i see the file .config/Terminal/terminalrc which contains the configuration of terminal is not read when i launch terminal.
somebody knows where i can configure preferences for Terminal (not via graphical way) ?
You SHOULD be able to edit .config/Terminal/terminalrc manually. Make some "visible" modifications (with Terminal closed to be safe), like for example, changing MiscBell to TRUE or TitleInitial to CustomTitle. Open Terminal. The titlebar should now read CustomTitle and when you do a backspace at the beginning of a line (or a delete at the end), the internal speaker should beep.
If you can't do that, then you have a problem. Try upgrading to 4.6.1, the latest version, to see if it's any better.
EDIT: it should work under 4.6.0 too. I've just tested it.
thanks, it works. I ve forgotten to close application when i modify this file.
