Googleearth not in any menus

Hi All;

I have google earth on my machine and it runs fine if I envolk it like this in a bash console"
googleearth &

However, it is not in any of the menus even though it exists in /usr/share/applications:

jserink@jerinkturion ~ $ ls -l /usr/share/applications
total 1060
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root   245 Mar 17 04:29 CMake.desktop
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root   397 Sep  2 11:53 Google-googleearth.desktop

It also exists in /home/jserink/,local/share/applications:

jserink@jerinkturion ~ $ ls -l .local/share/applications
total 652
-rw------- 1 jserink users  202 May 29  2007 GRPN.desktop
-rw------- 1 jserink users  359 Feb 24  2009 GanttProject.desktop
-rw------- 1 jserink users  438 Sep  3 09:34 Google-googleearth.desktop

Here is the .local/share/applications/Google-googleearth.desktop file:
[Desktop Entry]
Categories=Application;Network
Comment=Explore, search and discover the planet
Encoding=UTF-8
Exec[$e]=googleearth %f
GenericName=3D planet viewer
Icon=/usr/share/pixmaps/googleearth-icon.png
InitialPreference=2
MimeType=application/vnd.google-earth.kml+xml;application/vnd.google-earth.kmz;application/earthviewer;application/keyhole;application/x-zip
MultipleArgs=false
Name=Google Earth
Terminal=false
Type=Application

Any ideas as to why this does not showup in any of my menus?

cheers,
john

Re: Googleearth not in any menus

The desktop file says Applications/Network, and it doesn't show up under Network in the Applications submenu? Mine does, but for quicker starts I have Google Earth launched from the Xfce panel with the launcher command '/home/[me]/googleearth'.
