Xfce4 tries to start Orage at startup

I'm using Xfce4 for a while now. At one time I was using Orage, but I removed it because I can't set multiple alarms for a single event. Only a week ago I noticed on the splash screen that when Xfce4 is started it still tries to start Orage. How can I prevent this?

Hi, lnx.

Look in Settings/Session and Startup/Application Autostart. Remove Orage.

Re: Xfce4 tries to start Orage at startup

Hi gnome_refugee,

Orage isn't listed in the Application Autostart List.

When I checked this, I noticed that that xfce4-settings-helper is in the autostart list, but it is unchecked. But when I start up xfce4 (startx) it nevertheless tries to start xfce4-settings-helper according to the splash screen.

Hi, lnx.

I can't suggest anything else. Just one point: when you say you removed Orage, do you mean you actually uninstalled it?, as in apt-get remove orage?
