Forum security question..

Well, this forum is double secure against FreeBSD users, because technically the right answer to security question

date -u +%jXfce|sha256sum|sed 's/\W//g'

is:

sha256sum: Command not found.

which is not accepted. So freeBSD users have to do double problem solving to also find gsha256sum.. smile

Re: Forum security question..

Nick, shouldn't the answer be a hash like dcb77ade9ffb22f7b915e8752b29defaa121316a04d13325d49daf093fe8fff8?

If that's the case, then it's better to use date -u +%jXfce|sha256|sed 's/\W//g' for FreeBSD.
sha256 is available in the base system contrary to gsha256sum which has to be installed from ports (sysutils/coreutils I believe).

Re: Forum security question..

Yeah should work fine too. I've added sha256 in the note below the secret question.
