thunar : Not Autorized

Hi,

when I try to mount a local partition from my hard disk or my dvdrw I have a message from Thunar:

Not Autorized.

I use Slackware 13.37 and xfce 4.8 from :

http://connie.slackware.com/~rworkman/x … ages/i486/

Does anyone have the solution ?

Lionel

Re: thunar : Not Autorized

You need to setup X to use console kit, check with your distro docs on setting it up correctly.

Re: thunar : Not Autorized

You need to create an ~/.xinitrc file (or modify it if it exists) and add the following line:

exec ck-launch-session dbus-launch xfce4-session

That fix it for on Debian Sid, running Xfce with startx command.

Hope this helps you.
