Audacious icon has bad position in systray

Hi guys,

I have a problem after -Syu today. I used to have audacious in system tray aka notification area inside xfce panel. But after today's update I found out that audacious icon has bad position in tray, and is crippled.
it worked fine in tint2 systray, so I assume there is problem with xfce4-panel configuration.
Here is the debug list about systray - it makes weird things with row_size and shrinked icon at first place (instead of last place) of the panel is the result.

Is this the bug of panel? Or maybe audacious? Or maybe my bad configuration somewhere?

Thanks for advices in advance smile

Re: Audacious icon has bad position in systray

Sorry my bad ... I'm using arch linux x86_64, xfce4-panel version 4.8.5-1 and audacious version 3.0-5. I'm not sure how to get systray plugin version though....

Re: Audacious icon has bad position in systray

Well, just now after I booted my arch up, session manager hit audacious before anything else, and icon was normally displayed in the panel. After some other thing added itself to the tray and audacious restart everything is the same, icon on first place but shrank. I start to think that this is some weird bug of audacious ... icon is every time on first place, so ... could it be?

Re: Audacious icon has bad position in systray

Audacious always had a terrible icon implementation. Because Xfce does a bit more fancy positioning is starts to screw things up. You can try to increase the minimum icon size in the tray settings.

Re: Audacious icon has bad position in systray

Audacious doesn't "have" an icon implementation at all; it uses GtkStatusIcon.

Re: Audacious icon has bad position in systray

Ok that has changed then, sorry for the confusion. That audacious is always the first icon is expected; tray icons are alphabetically sorted. No idea why the sizing goes awkward, will check that later this week, see if I can reproduce it.

Re: Audacious icon has bad position in systray

I have a similar problem. When yesterday I installed audacious 3.0-5 the systray audacious icon use much space, leaving a gap between others systray icons.
The solution I found was installed audacious2 from AUR. ¿Is not a GTK compatibility problem with audacious(GTK3) and XFCE(GTK2)?
