Re: Global menu in Xfce?

And that supposed to be .... ?

Xfce is NOT Xubuntu. Bugs in Xubuntu don't mean that Xfce is buggy ...

Re: Global menu in Xfce?

It's the menu from applications showed in to the panel using xfapplet plugin.
In the older release xfce 4.6 it worked but now it doesn't.

Re: Global menu in Xfce?

the old proyect from gnome-globalmenu to the xfce4-globalmenu work but you need patch (and rebuild) gtk2 and only work w/gtk-1? gtk-2 apps

for other side the xfapplet deppend for build for the gnome-panel2 and the gnome-panle3 and the old are uncompatible (and crash and other clash-thing)

but if you habe gnome2 and dont habe intentions to upgrade no problem happen

Re: Global menu in Xfce?

I'm using Arch linux I tried to install it from Aur but it's out of date.
It worked before gnome 3 but now it doesn't it asks for gnome 2 panel like you said, perhaps someone knows a way to get it work?
Thanks.

Re: Global menu in Xfce?

Mrd the xfce4-globalmenu-plugint and gtk2-adq are removed from AUR (tose tw work together for make a globalmenu... ok gtk2-adq is still but the xfce-appmenu-plugin no)

try gnome-globalmenu-git + xfapplet changin gnome-panel for gnome-panel-ubuntu (dont care the outdated, try)
