session restore at login doesn't use workspaces?
With applications on different workspaces I log out and XFCE saves my session. On logging back in, all of the applications are restored, but in a single workspace. Is this normal for XFCE? I'm using XFCE 4.8 on Ubuntu 12.04.

No, in Xubuntu 12.04, Xfce restores applications in their own workspaces. But it can be a "xfce on top of gnome" problem.
May be, the magic "rm -rf ~/.cache/sessions" can resolve this problem.
