Fonts Attention

I really like xfce, because its maintained, its fast and customizable. But i would like to point out what i really don't like. That is the fonts. My eyes hurt when i start reading text. Ubuntu(unity) has great fonts very pleasant for eyes. And mint(gnome2) has descent fonts, but xfce doesn't. At least from my perspective, maybe i'm wrong, but i just wanted to point that out to you guys. And one more thing, default theme is very ugly. I don't want to troll, tastes are different that's certainly but i think little more style would attract much more audience. It doesn't have to be desktop environment with most features, but it needs to be polished, that is my oppinion only. You did great job so far, i hope you will continue in that direction. I registered account just to post this :-)

Theme looks better now, i installed new system yesterday, and theme looks better then it was on Linux Mint (self installed xfce from terminal) so i`m not talking about linux mint XFCE edition. I run Fedora 17 XFCE x64 at the moment. But fonts are still bad. Maybe i`m wrong but my eyes hurts watching these fonts.

There seems to be nothing wrong with your font rendering so ... it's just question of which default font & size you like ...

Ok man, thank you for replies.. i will try to use to it.. i already started font tweaking i installed Droid Sans fonts, and i`ll see where will it lead at the end. Thanks once again.

If you intall the infanility package, as suggested secipolla, and get any change, can you make a screenshot ? I don't have fedora and I'm curious about what can be improved from your last screenshot ...
