Scrolling doesn't work after boot

When I reboot Xubuntu 14.04 the scrolling is gone. I have to open the Pointing Devices window (Settings Manager), where vertical/horizontal scrolling appears enabled (!), and then disable & re-enable. Anybody has the same problem?
