Networkmanager (in tray) has his own theme? (evertime!)

hello again,

if i change the Theme in XFCE 4.12 - all apps do what i want. Only! "NM-applet" has a "gnome3-look"
what can i do so that Networkmanager accept my decision?

any idea?

thanks

Re: Networkmanager (in tray) has his own theme? (evertime!)

Which distro are you using?

Which version of Network Manager are you using? GTK2 or GTK3-compiled?
Are you running nm-applet under your profile (not root):

ps -ef | grep nm-applet

Which theme are you using? Does it have both GTK2 and GTK3 components?

Re: Networkmanager (in tray) has his own theme? (evertime!)

My Distro: FC22 / Fedora
libnm-gtk 1.0.2-1.fc22
Yes, i run NM (only) under my profil.

ps -ef | grep nm-applet
michael 2328 2208 0 15:10 ? 00:00:02 nm-applet
michael 3940 3891 0 19:24 pts/0 00:00:00 grep --color=auto nm-applet

I use the Murrina Theme from the "gnome-theme" = GTK2

Hint: in my Opinion i only use GTK2 under XFCE, and only NM-applet looks like "GTK3 style"

Re: Networkmanager (in tray) has his own theme? (evertime!)

In all likelihood, NetworkManager is a GTK3 app and your theme is missing a GTK3 component. You'll need to find and use a theme that has a GTK3 component to it. And also that supports the version of GTK3 that is bundled with your distro.
