How do I change shutdown behaviour?

Hi
I'm looking to change the default shutdown that halts the machine to the shutdown -p for poweroff.
I'm on a FreeBSD system.
Any hints?
Thanks

Re: How do I change shutdown behaviour?

You mean in the menu?

Right click edit menu? Add a shutdown option with the command you want.

Re: How do I change shutdown behaviour?

Yes that's an option. What I meant was, when I push the "end" button I get three choices logout, restart and shutdown. It's the functionallity of the shutdown button I want to change.

Re: How do I change shutdown behaviour?

My answer was remove the button, create another launcher which just shuts down, and the menu option above. Easy and it's moved from 4.3 to 4.4 without any problems.

Re: How do I change shutdown behaviour?

Thank you! I'll do that. I wish that the developers would make the buttons configurable.
