window manager // advanced settings // double click action // problem!

hello
i am trying to adjust the advance settings in the window manage preferences window:
double click action // hide window
i´ve chose this option but the desktop windows don´t hide when i double click them.
am i missing something?
on xubuntu, kernel 2.6.17-12-powerpc, xfce 4.4, mac powerbook g4 titanium.

You are (double) clicking the title bar, right?

yes, i am double clicking the title bar. nothing happens.
maybe there is something i need to re-install?
this used to work before...

Do the other actions work? I just tried hide and it works, so it's not a bug with hide, can you try one of the others to see if it works.

i figured it out...the double click speed on my mouse was too for the windows to register.
