icons on the right of the desktop at column > 12

Hi,

I would like to have my desktop icons on the right in XFCE 4.4.0, but placing them at a column >12 (my screen let me place at column 13 or 14) and logging out and in again I find them back at column 0 (on the left).
I have a resolution of 1280x800 and changed desktop icons dimension to 28 in the Desktop Preferencies > Behavior.

Thanks to anyone could help me.

Re: icons on the right of the desktop at column > 12

The same thing happens even if I place an icon at a row > 7 (my screen is 9 rows, from 0 to 8)
It's just like XFCE knows the screen to be 8 x 13 as when icons had a dimension of 32 instead of 9 x 15 with icons of 28...
Does anyone know if there is a parameter and a configuration file to set the rows x column value?

Thanks

There's a file named ~/.config/xfce4/desktop/icons.screen0.rc which lists the icons and gives geometry info for them.

However, beware! I'm a newbie also and haven't tried this. In fact, I have my own troubles ^_^. But maybe it wil help.
