SSQ = super stupid question

Hi all,
I've loaded up Xububtu 7.10 and absolutely love it! My super stupid question is: What is the little circle with the "button" or dot in it on the left side of the title bar, next to the icon of window i have opened.
Example - I opened Blackjack-vegas strip - on the title bar, left side is a pair of cards, indicating what i have opened. what is the action button next to it? It toggles on/off, but what is it toggling?

You can tell I'm "Linux Challenged" still, but thats how we learn. these foruums are great.

Hi
Just klick with your mouse the circle and watch carefully the pager. As you can see the program will (dis)appear on the other desktops.

Thanks very much, I accidentally removed the pager from my panel, I will re-enable it so my button works again.  This is why I wasn't seeing anything happen. I've been at another web site learning how to use the Termial, and command line. Yeee haaa ... just love this OS!   Thanks again - RiK
