Can anyone help me find my lost workstations or virtual monitors in xubuntu?

I was messing around last nite getting farmiliar with xubuntu 7.10 when I did something I guess that cause my four workstations (if thats what they are called) in the lower right hand corner of the screen to dissapear. In fact I now have nothing on the bottom. I think the trash can was over there too.

I've gone to applications/settings/settings manager and too workspaces but four are selected but I still have a no go.

Any ideas?

Thanks, Neal

Re: Can anyone help me find my lost workstations or virtual monitors in xubuntu?

I'm afraid I can't help, because I have a similar problem.

I was just going about my normal business, when the panel disappeared. No problem, just restart it manually and it came back... only Pager was missing. Tried "Add New Item" and selected Pager and got the Error "Cannot open Pager module".

checking .xsession-errors comes up with the following:

** (xfce4-panel:11907): CRITICAL **: Could not open "Pager": pager: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Since it was there before, and I didn't tweak anything, I don't know why it might suddenly not exist.

I'm using Debian Etch.
