National characters in XFCE Terminal

Hi,

I am on Gentoo, recently I switched to XFCE 4.4.2, but I have a problem with writing national (Czech) characters in XFCE Terminal. I am using UTF-8 encoding, in /etc/rc.conf I have UNICODE="yes", compiling all applications with "unicode" use flag. I am switching between "us" and "cz_qwerty" keyboard layouts in xorg.conf. I need just to write accented characters, I do not want to localize my whole system (all locales have "POSIX" value).

When I compiled and started XFCE first time, it all worked as expected, I was able to write Czech charatcetsr in XFCE Terminal. But then I must have change something (and I do not know what), and now if i changed a keyboard layout to cz_qwerty, I am writing question marks "?" instead of accented characters. I checked what did I emerge since the xfce, but there is no package that interferes with it. I even uninstalled and installed again XFCE, but no success.

I have found this thread: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-63 … +mark.html, but I am not able to get it working. Maybe it is not a solution.

I know how to make uxterm writing Czech characters, but I am interested in solution for XFCE Terminal. Does anybody have similar problems? What did I change, did wrong, screwed up? Any advice is highly appreciated.

Thanks
Dan

Nemůže to být problém s písmem? Když ten text s otazníkama překopíruješ jinam, pořád tam jsou otazníky?

What about font? If you copy text from terminal and paste it elsewhere, still showing questionmarks?
