How to show (u)mounted partitions in Thunar side pane?

How to show unmounted partitions in Thunar? Nautilus, Konqueror, Dolphin and PCManFM from their left sidepanel show unmounted partitions, so when I click on them, they dinamically create their location in /media folder. Thunar sidepane show only mounted CD/DVD ROM's, and plugged removable devices (e.g. USB sticks). Is there some solution to this problem?

I know that I can mount by hand partition, or with some other file manager, and than bookmark folder from mounted partition, but thats not the way I want.

I have Arch GNU/Linux and latest Xfce 4.6.1.

Thunar 0.8.0 have this feauture.

Re: How to show (u)mounted partitions in Thunar side pane?

mouse,

I get similar behavior like you suggested with my USB sticks, not sure on other removable media.  There is more integration planned in the Thunar rewrite for 4.8.  You can read more here.

Nice to hear that. Some users (propably which try XFCE 4.6.1 on their distros) also find this behaviour strange, so it would be nice to correct this.
