Shiki-Colors bug

I'm running PC/OS 10.1 (based on Xubuntu) and have installed the Shiki-Colors series of GTK themes, the GNOME-Colors series of icon themes, and the Arc-Colors series of wallpapers and GDM themes.  But there's one slight problem:  In the GTK themes list, I'm getting the Arc-Colors themes (both the regular and user-list versions) showing up in the GTK themes list, and that's definitely not where they belong.  What's more, I can't see anything in the /usr/share/themes directory that would cause this.  Can someone help me quash this little annoyance?

Thanx in advance,
Fred in St. Louis

Re: Shiki-Colors bug

I had thought about that.  I didn't really want to do it, as it would mean having to install the same stuff for each user on here, but I guess that looks like my only option here in an attempt to quash that bug...

Re: Shiki-Colors bug

Mueller, as much as I didn't care for the idea, I tried that and I'm happy to say that that fixed the problem, although it also meant that I had to create a .themes folder for all 3 users (myself, my wife, and guests) and copy all those themes over into said folders.  Thankfully, the other stuff is in the appropriate /usr/share... folders and not causing any problems.

Thanx again! :-)
Fred

Re: Shiki-Colors bug

You could have just moved the files as root, to the correct directory.

Re: Shiki-Colors bug

Most distros don't like manual editing under /usr afaik. So imho the method in the home-folder is the better one.

Re: Shiki-Colors bug

Well they may not like it but unless the theme package is updated (in which case, such a glaring bug will likely be fixed), it's not going to cause any issues.
