Not rendering svg icons
Hi I am trying to complete a new Puppylinux with a full Xfce desktop using the Xfce-4.6.1 but have ran into a problem the svg icons are not showing up. I do have the librsvg and the libsvg but wanted to know if someone could tell me what version is needed or what fill I may have compiled wrong for it not to be working correctly.
I am running this on linux kernel 2.6.34.1 xserver 1.7.5 xorg 7.3 have upgraded quite a few libs to get it working and just want every thing working correctly so that I may release it for public use.

Check if you have the svg pixbuf loader for gdk-pixbuf, should be part of the rsvg package. Probably installed in /usr/lib/gdk-pixbuf-2.0/2.10.0/loaders/ or something like that.

Thanks Nick for your replay I do have the gdk-pixbuf file and had to compile that for another program to work. The icons with show up in Google-chrome it I use open with and have them open in Google-chrome but Thunar thunmnialer or any of the system program can use them.

i try to use svg icons with no success (theme 23517-icons-svg.tar.gz
from xfce-look.org)
when attempting to use this new theme the svg isn't
visible in the icon theme selector (it is visible and displayed from thunar)
i have these lines concerning svg libs :
librsvg-2.so.2 -> librsvg-2.so.2.26.3
librsvg-2.so.2.26.3
xfce 4-6-2 on debian sid
(linux 2.6.37-0.slh.7-aptosid-686 #1 SMP PREEMPT Sun Jan 16 23:16:55 UTC 2011 i686 GNU/Linux
kde with xfce installed afterward)
any help please ?

Make sure you have libpixbufloader-svg.so (somewhere in /usr/lib/gdk-pixbuf-2.0/2.10.0/loaders/) provided by librsvg and run "gdk-pixbuf-query-loaders --update-cache".
