[Solved] How to resize Icons in panel-application-menu a.k.a. the main menu?

Hi Community

I have a tablet pc with a touchscreen and to accommondate my big fingers I have increased the icon size in the xfce main menu to 32x32. I did that editing the xfconf property "/Gtk/IconSizes" with value "gtk-menu=32,32". However since updating to 4.8 that setting has stopped working. I tried it with .gtkrc-2.0 and settings-editor.

On the Xfce Plugin Wishlist I found the following

Ability to change the menu-icon-size (16x16px icons looks so ugly) – fixed in 4.8 with the panel-applications-menu style property.

Could you explain the usage and location of this porperty to me or point me to an alternatiove solution.

Thanks

EDIT:

Setting "/Gtk/IconSizes" to "gtk-menu=32,32" only modifies the icon size in the "right-click-on-desktop" or "xfce4-popup-applicationsmenu" menu. Not the panel-applications-menu.

Just add the menu size to the string, so set /Gtk/IconSizes to "panel-applications-menu=32,32:gtk-menu=32,32:panel-directory-menu=32,32"
