[Solved] Is there a way to get a window to sit "below" a panel?

I have a translucent, docked panel. I don't want it to pop out (since I find the effect for it on this panel very annoying), and would rather it just float on top of the other windows. This works fine normally. However, if the panel is "docked" top the top of the screen, it forces the window to resize below it, even though it's translucent. Help? I basically just want the panel to render on top of the window, no matter what.

It seems that there is a hidden "disable-struts" property that disable the panel "always on top" but I don't know how to activate this ? And does it really works ?

To disable struts:

xfconf-query -c xfce4-panel -p /panels/panel-0/disable-struts -t bool -n -s true

...(note, if you have more than 1 panel, adjust the value of "panel-0" accordingly).
