xfce borders aren't changing and xfwm4 themes aren't seen.

hi, i'm running suse 12.1 all my xfce themes work fine apart from the window border that won't change at all not matter which theme i pick. i ran xfwm4 --replace so i'm sure i'm using xfwm4. and am not running compiz and looked to see if the gtk-theming was running and wasn't.

i installed an xfce theme in ~/.themes called Rele which has a directory called xfwm4 inside and it doesn't show up in the appearance app.

i don't know anything about gtk3 so i have no idea what difference that might make. can someone help me, please?

Window decorations are set in Window Manager Settings and GTK appearances are set in Appearance settings. See: http://wiki.xfce.org/howto/install_new_themes.
